It is not supported by default on Windows, and it is one of the most common file systems. ![]() another option is to use a driver like Ext2Fsd, which will allow you to read and write to ext4 drives from within Windows. Then you’ll be able to access your ext4 drive from within the virtual machine. One option is to use a virtual machine software like VMware or VirtualBox and install a Linux operating system inside it. There isn’t a native Windows driver for ext4, so you won’t be able to open the drive without installing third-party software. You can change the -t flag in the mount command to vfat or msdos for VFAT or MSDOS partitions.
